Before configuring your Welcome Series, please create all the messages for the sequence in the Message Library. Please refer to the Message Library Section of this document for more details on creating a message.
After the user opts in and receives the opt-in confirmation page, you can send them a sequence. To create a new sequence, go to the welcome series sections in the Automations tab and select Create New. Give the new welcome series a name, choose the opt in location from the drop down under locations. You have the option of adding certain conditions if needed.
You are now ready to create the welcome sequence. Click on +Add Message to add the first message in the sequence. Add the schedule when the message has to be sent out and click on Select a Message from the Message Selector. Messages that have already been created in the Message Library will populate. You have the option of searching for a message by name or id. Select the desired message and click on Apply. The first message in the sequence has been configured. You can now add a delay before configuring the second message. Select +Delay and enter the number of days you want for the next message. You can now select +Message to configure the next message and delay based on the number of messages you want to include in the sequence. Click Save when you are done configuring your sequence.
